With the Dow opening trading well over 800 points today and still rising, the air line industry has been one of the biggest beneficiaries of this huge pump. Boeing (BA), Delta (DAL), American (AAL), and United (UAL) have all seen significant increases over the week from their lows, and today showed a significant jump. The performance of the airline industry in the early part of the day gives investors confidence that they are breaking away from their floor, similar to the cruise line industry, and preparing to coast to their pre-corona levels. These jumps are most likely coming because some airlines are preparing to increase the amount of flights they run and the person capacity they carry on these flights. There’s plenty of room for the industry to rise, and the flight doesn’t have to stop there.
